Professional Development Meetings

Throughout the year, the Down East Chapter sponsors programs where members can gain knowledge about how to enhance important business functions such as Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), Supply Chain Management, Inventory Control, Lean, and many other topics from the Operations Management Body Of Knowledge (OMBOK).

  
Professional Development Meetings are typically held on a monthly basis. We try to schedule them on the third Wednesday or Thursday of each month. They consist of a dinner meeting, presentation, seminar, or plant tour.

Plant Tours and other types of chapter events may be scheduled instead of dinner meetings, and can occur at various venues, and at various times of day depending on the host companies' wishes. Check newsletter mailings and these web pages often for updates.
